\nSaya mengamati karya jurnalistik di beberapa media online lewat grup WA ini. Kesimpulan saya, ada “penyakit”<\/em> kekeringan ide di kalangan jurnalis. Indikatornya, nyaris semua sudut pandang publikasi sama. Bahkan, gaya publikasinya pun sama. Serupa copy paste belaka. Maaf, menjemukan.<\/p>\n

Sebagai ilustrasi, saya sebutkan contoh publikasi tentang tim SDM Komisi Pemberantasan Korupsi (KPK) yang “obok-obok”<\/em> eksekutif Pemkot Batu. Peristiwanya beberapa hari dalam sepekan terakhir ini.<\/p>\n

Nyaris semua media online menggunakan terminologi penyidikan untuk menyebut kegiatan tim SDM KPK di Kota Batu.<\/p>\n

Benarkah penyidikan? Terminologi yang benar, penyidikan atau penyelidikan?
\nDua terminologi tersebut jelas beda makna. Beda pula tindakan faktualnya secara harafiah.<\/p>\n

Bila jurnalis tidak terserang “penyakit”<\/em> kekeringan ide, semestinya ingat pada “pondasi”<\/em> hukum publik (hukum pidana), yaitu UU RI No. 8\/ Tahun 1981 tentang KUHAP. Lazim disebut Hukum Acara Pidana. KUHAP adalah hukum pidana formil sebagai “landasan”<\/em> hukum pidana materiil (UU Pemberantasan Tipikor).<\/p>\n

Makna dan hakikat penyidikan termaktub dalam Pasal 1, angka 2, KUHAP. Pengertian dan hakikat penyelidikan tertera di Pasal 1, angka 5, KUHAP. Detilnya baca sendiri di KUHAP.<\/p>\n

Hal yang saya maksud, bila jurnalisnya tidak kekeringan ide, ihwal penyidikan dan penyelidikan itu bisa dijadikan bahan wawancara. Di lapangan, bahan wawancara bisa berkembang. Misal, sudah adakah gelar perkara untuk menentukan tersangka sehingga (di lapangan) menggunakan terminologi penyidikan?<\/p>\n

Tentu saja, selain wawancara by phone dengan Jubir KPK juga wawancara tatap muka dengan sejumlah akademisi pakar hukum pidana di PTN maupun PTS, di Malang. Ingat, ada lebih dari 40 PTN dan PTS di Malang. Ada puluhan PTS yang memiliki fakultas hukum. Artinya, cukup banyak “stok”<\/em> akademisi yang ahli di bidang hukum pidana.<\/p>\n

Lewat strategi liputan seperti itu dapat dipastikan melahirkan karya jurnalistik (berita) berbobot nilai tinggi. Pasanya, tidak sekadar informatif, tapi juga bermuatan pencerahan bagi khalayak komunikan media.<\/p>\n

Memang, ada “syarat”<\/em> untuk bisa melahirkan karya jurnalistik bermuatan informatif sekaligus pencerahan bagi publik. Apa “syaratnya”<\/em>? Satu saja, tapi utama, yaitu “melek”<\/em> hukum. Bila tidak, ya… wassalam.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
